Welcome to Björkvattnet - with some of the most pristine fishing waters in the mountain world. Björkvattnet is located right next to the Norwegian border and so secluded that the village even had its own traffic rules.
Lake Björkvattnet has a rich stock of trout and arctic char of good size and summer and winter fishing of very high quality.
The eight ponds are located in very different environments, with some located up in the mountains just below the tree line while others are surrounded by forest. There are trails to all the ponds, some are located 4-5 km from the nearest road, which in practice means total privacy for those who want to fish in pristine waters.
Two ponds and Lake Björkvattnet are located close to or directly adjacent to the road, which means that they are very suitable for people with disabilities. Björkvattnet and its fishing waters are also located in one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich areas in the mountains and offer fantastic nature experiences in addition to the fishing itself.
