About the water
Tidaholm's central fishing is conducted in the Tidan River which flows through the town. The river is a flowing water from the bridge at Sa: Ringvägen down to the falls at Turbinhusön which offers all kinds of fishing, below the falls a shorter stretch is offered with only fly fishing for 5 people. The fishing spots on the stretches are very easy in parts and others more demanding.
All trout must be released back.

Tärnan bildades år 1976 efter en sammanslagning av två andra fiskeklubbar i kommunen. Vi arbetar för fritidsfiske samt tävlingsfiske i medlemmarnas intresse även fiskevård.
