Emåns FVOF Emån mellan Klövdala och Ryningen

Welcome to Emån Fiskevårdsområde between Klövdala and Ryningen. The entire stretch is very varied. Larger tributaries that flow into the stretch are Silverån and Gårdvedaån. The stretch is dominated by calmly flowing parts. At Årena, Målilla village, Ämmenäs, Torp and Ryningsnäs there are shorter or longer stretches of stream. The width of the river varies between 5 and 30m, the depths in the river vary from the shallowest rapids where the depth is 0-0.5m to deep bends that can be 5-10m deep. On the stretch within Hultsfred municipality there are about 20 species of fish. The most common are perch, bream, roach, roach, pike, chub, tench, trout, eel, catfish. NOTE! Eels and catfish are protected!!!
