Nedre Gärdsjö Samfällighetsförening offers free fishing for children and young people. Please read and follow the general fishing rules that apply for the area. Rules specifically for children and adolescents:
  • Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 14 years.
  • Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing permit (on their quota)
  • The keeper must have taken note of and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.

About the water

Description

In the waters of Lake Gärdsjön, the village of Nedre Gärdsjö is reflected along the eastern shore or the forest along the western shore. Lake Gärdsjön is about 80 hectares in size with several nice bays and a few islands and peninsulas. Lake Rösstjärn is connected to Lake Gärdsjön via an outlet from Lake Gärdsjön's southern end. Lake Storaxen is a spring lake with crystal clear water in a beautiful forest environment.

Lakes Gärdsjön, Storaxen and Lake Rösstjärn are home to pike, perch and roach.

The lakes, which are easily accessible via forest roads, are open for summer and winter fishing.

Du kan vandra eller cykla längs Kulturvandringar i Gärdsjö i det vidsträckta Ladriket på de uråldriga vägarna som kantas av en rik, kalkgynnad flora. Kanske stannar Du upp vid Blånnesladu från 1200-talet eller deltar i höslåttern vid Snis Hannas slåtterstuga.

Du kan också besöka Ollas Olles gård med Lekgården eller vårt Dalskåpsmuseum i Gärdsjö Mejeri.
