The Klippen FVO in the Umeälven river extends approx. 500 meters above Märkesforsen down to Syterforsen. The descent to Märkesforsen takes place at Stintbäcken, approx. 15 km above Hemavan. The area has both calm and rushing water and is suitable for all types of rod fishing. The fish you are expected to catch are char and trout. The area is sometimes easily accessible and sometimes difficult to get to. Three places are adapted for the disabled: Båtlänningen, Märkesforsen and Fäboavan.
