Lejondalssjön is home to the most common fish species, such as pike, perch, bream, roach, tench, etc., as well as a population of signal crayfish. A “newly introduced fish” for a few years now is the pikeperch. Both I:1's fishing association and Bro Sportfiskeklubb have released pikeperch and there is a small population. The lake is partly located in a scenic reserve. The Outdoor Promotion Department keeps the small Hällkana open on weekends, where there is a nice restaurant.
