Then we have the results of the year! In 2026, 720 salmon, 622 sea trout and also 26 grayling went up through the salmon tunnel into our FVO. A total of 1368 fish, so significantly better than last year's poor rise. Now we can only hope that there was a good game in the restored parts of the river after the REBORN measures in previous years. So welcome back on May 1, 2027 when we open the river again. Then, as usual, we have a premiere in Blåtjärn at the end of February/March with several hundred kilos of char put into the pond!

The area is the uppermost of three fish conservation areas in the Lögdeälven where salmon and sea trout migrate. In addition to the Lögdeälven, there are about 15 other ponds and waterways, see link for more info.

The area extends from the border with the Lögdeälven FVO at Bjurvik up to Storforsen, 3-4 km downstream of Övre Uusimaa, which means that you can fish here for about 9 km. The area is located above the Fällforsfallet and has previously only had a local population of trout and grayling. Since a fish pass was built at the falls in the late 1980s, salmon and sea trout have also been able to migrate up this part of the river. In recent years, it has been shown that salmon in the hundreds pass the Fällforsfallet, which is why salmon fishing in the area has become increasingly attractive.
