Hålteby-Rinnens Fvof has a total of 25 fishable waters, the largest of which are Rinnen, Mossjön, Eketjärn, Långevattnet, Hålevattnet and Rövattnet.
The area has very beautiful nature with several nature reserves. The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach and trout.
There are great opportunities for fishing in undisturbed waters high up in the forests of Hålteby-Rinnens fvof with surrounding nature reserves around several waters. In the forests you can get the chance to see some of our largest predators such as wolves and lynx but also moose and other deer. White moose and white deer have also been seen in the area.
Hålevattnet is a put & take water where rainbow trout are stocked every year. Rainbows up to 1.5 kg are stocked so that visitors can experience the wonderful fights. The largest rainbow caught here weighed 4 kg. Hålevattnet also has an accessible jetty so that even those with disabilities can fish.
Rinnen is the area's largest lake and is located so high up that you get a feeling of the mountain world in the area. In Rinnen, large pike are caught every year, where the top size has so far weighed 12 kg. Perch over a kilo are frequent and fresh air is a promise.
Mossjön is a very deep lake with a depth of over 30 meters. Here, char was planted 30 years ago and there are still fish from the population left today. Fvof will work to raise this water to both a trout and char mecca.
Gravtjärnen in the east is a very accessible lake where you can frequently catch large perch over a kilo.
Most of the waters have great potential for migratory trout and this is something that Fvof is investing heavily in developing.
