Svenstaån has a genuine wilderness feel and is difficult to access from a fishing point of view, something that the association intends to maintain and preserve in the future, in order to increase the number of large lake trout in Storsjön and in Svenstaån.
Svenstaån on the stretch from Medalen in Svenstavik to Rörösjön, as well as Backsjöån are subject to fishery conservation measures Rörösjön: Fishing with various methods all year round. Fishing for trout and grayling from June to August. Rörösjön is easily accessible via existing roads. Svenstaån is difficult to access and requires extra effort for the genuine angler.
Stor-Backsjön and Lillsjön can be reached quite easily from forest roads and a short walk. Kläppsjön can be reached via a forest road that reaches almost to the lake. NOTE! The easternmost part of Kläppsjön is outside the fishery conservation area (see map).
Backsjöån has a great wilderness feel and is quite difficult to access along its entire length, but can be reached via forest roads and shorter walks.
Östbergsbodsjön can be reached via a forest road along the eastern side (however, the road is closed to car traffic).
