Umeälven, Ahasjön, Maisorforsen m fl vatten

Björkfors fishing area in Hemavan offers plenty of flowing water and the proximity to the village of Hemavan makes the area very suitable for families who want easy-to-reach fishing. There are rapids, streams, rapids and shallows.

The fishing waters extend from Portbron in the south upstream of the Umeälven to Syterforsen in the north and from Ahasjön to Maisorn in the west and the Gainan outlet in the south. On both sides of the Umeälven there is a path/road that is partially accessible.

Stream fishing from the Maisorn outlet and down to Ahasjön, and from the outlet of Syterforsen and upwards.

Summer fishing: This is a summer fishing water that is suitable for both spinning and fly fishing.

Winter fishing: Winter fishing is best done at Maisorn.

Accessibility adapted for the disabled if you choose to fish from the scooter bridge at Krokiavan.
