The Vänneån fishing conservation area was started in the early 1970s and sells fishing licenses in Vänneån and about 15 lakes. The Vänneån flows like a string of pearls through the forests on the border between Kronoberg and Halland.
With its unique trout population, Vänneån is a popular fishing lake. Fishing for pike and perch is offered all year round in the lakes. Ljungsjön is a beautiful wilderness lake where we stock noble fish.
The lakes within the fishing area are Vännesjö, Boasjö, Tranesjö, Lammasjö, Askebodasjön, Hundsjön, Nackasjö, Långasjö, Intagasjön, Kulpsjön, Kåpsjö, Grässjön, Svartasjö, Ingelköpsgölen and Grysshultasjön.
