Svartåns Fiskevårdsområde, which consists of Tranås Municipality and a number of private water owners, protects the water environment and invests in fish conservation measures in the waters of Svartån. Many measures have been taken to remove migration obstacles and to improve playgrounds. We will continue with improvement measures continuously in the coming years, one step at a time. Income from sold sport fishing licenses is continuously reinvested in fish conservation measures.
