The fishery management area is located 45 km southwest of Skellefteå, the area connects around the upper Bure River in a northwesterly direction. The fish species that characterizes the fishing area most is the strong population of pike perch found in Lake Burträsket, Neboträsket, Bodträsket and in directly adjacent waters.
