The association manages the fishing in Emsen and Lillsjön, north of Deje. A fishing management plan exists and with the help of students from the Sportfiskeakademin, 8 rice vases have been built since 2012. Extensive algae blooms often occur during the summer, which negatively affects fishing. On July 4-5, 2026, a fishing competition will be held for 2-man teams using available fishing spots on the west side, including at the rest area. Sunday evening, the spots are available for card buyers.
