Toftasjöns FVO has been operating since 1990.

The income from fishing licenses is used for fisheries management, supervision or other measures that are in the interests of the fishery. Fisheries management consists of, among other things, the maintenance of approximately 12 vases that are decorated with 10 Christmas trees each year (see map), mink catching and fish planting, etc.
