The County Administrative Board of Jönköping County in collaboration with Örens FVOF with support from Jönköping Municipality, Aneby Municipality and Jönköpings Energi has been investing for a few years in saving the very weak char population in Ören through the collection of breeding material, cultivation and release. This investment, the Char Project, also means that fishing in the coming years will be limited by new fishing regulations.
