Update - 2025

From May 31, 2025, we will reopen our incredibly beautiful stretch for fly fishing guests. Since the beginning of 2016, we have been working to get started with a restoration of the stretch we lease. We have now received funding for this project that we call "save the Borrsjöåtringen". The project also means that the time to support releasing rainbow trout into the water is over. We can now fish with the rainbow trout that remain on the stretch together with the unique strain of trout that exists.

We have therefore adjusted our prices for fishing licenses significantly downwards. We hope that you will continue to come and visit this beautiful forest stream and enjoy an incredibly beautiful environment while you walk along the river in search of alert fish.

Ovansjö Kronoparks Flugfiske was formed.

We lease a stretch of the "Borrsjöån" up in Gästrikland where we conduct fly fishing operations where only C&R is allowed.

Our purpose is to offer good fly fishing for Borrsjöåtringen which is a genuine strain together with combative rainbows in a fantastic environment.

Our long-term work is of course the fisheries conservation that we are passionate about, to restore the river after the "raft cleaning" that has been done to so many waterways in our elongated country.
