The decision to form a separate fishing management area was made in 1989 because the village association and the fishing rights holders, to the extent possible, wanted to retain the right to decide on the management of the fishing in their own waters. A fishing management association was formed with responsibility for the joint management of the fishing.

In Kallön, the association has built an asphalted boat ramp adjacent to the Kallö jetty. There is also a wind shelter and a sports center next to it. The recreational facilities have also been built on western Skvecke.

The goal of the fishing management area is to provide good and affordable fishing with good accessibility. Currently, there is a very good supply of large perch, large pike and large trout!

When fishing within our fishing management area please: show consideration for cottage owners on the islets by not fishing in the immediate vicinity of the cottages. There are many uninhabited islands/beaches where such fishing can be conducted.
