The area includes all fishing in the parts of Lake Fryken that are within Sunne Municipality as well as the lakes Björken and Fölsjön.

To fish in the area, a Fishing License is required, which comes in a number of different forms. Young people under 17 years of age, disabled people and their companions, and teachers/school classes do not need a fishing license

Between the Bryggar Bridge and the mouth of the Frykensundet Strait in the south, hand-held fishing from land is allowed
