The association was formed about 25 years ago with the aim of attracting fishing-interested tourists from the Nordics and the rest of Europe. Preserve a viable stock of salmon, salmon trout and other noble fish. The fishing area is a section of the Erkheikki/Juhonpieti fishing management area and Peräjävaara Village Association. The organization number is the same as for the Peräjävaara village association, i.e. 897601-0556.
