Törn and Törngöl's joint fishing was formed in 1935. By all accounts it was the first of its kind in Sweden. After the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act came into force in 1960, the joint fishing was reorganized into Törn and Törngöl's FVOF in 1962. Source: Törn - a lake in Småland 1981.
