Aspens FVOF

Lake Aspen is located in Långserud and is 344 hectares in size with a shoreline of 14,500 m. The maximum depth in the lake is 14 m and the average depth is 6.6 m. Aspen is best known for its fine zander fishing, but there is also plenty of pike, perch and roach.

Spread of diseases

To minimize the risk of spreading fish and crayfish diseases, only bait fish from the water in which fishing is conducted should be used. Gear, boats, etc. should be cleaned when moved between different lakes and waterways.

Fishing supervision

Fishing supervision is carried out by trained persons appointed by Aspen's fishing authority. A fishing license must be carried and can be shown upon request. It is the responsibility of the fishing license holder to find out and follow the applicable regulations, and to be able to identify themselves. Illegal fishing is reported to the police and the equipment is confiscated. In the event of a violation of fishing regulations, the board can decide on an inspection fee of a maximum of SEK 2,000 or a suspension for a maximum of 5 years.
