Both Struven/Stora Le and Foxen fishing management areas were established in 1991 with the aim of promoting and developing fishing and fisheries management, working on a useful management of the resource and allowing certain fishing to be carried out by the public. The associations prioritize environmental measures that aim to improve the living environment in our many fishing waters. A joint fishing license for both areas was developed in 2020, which is valid in waters within the original boundaries of the Struven/Stora Le and Foxen fishing management areas with certain exceptions.
