The association's goal is to improve the fish stock in the long term by annually releasing fish into selected waters within the fishery conservation area. The improved fish stock should lead to better catches, which in turn is expected to lead to increased interest in fishing in the area. Good catches are expected to increase the sale of fishing licenses.
