Hamrånge Fiskevårdsområdesförening in Gävleborg County is an association of fishing right owners and fishing right holders with fishing rights within Hamrånge parish with the exception of Axmarby and Axmarbruk. Hamrånge FVOF works for sustainable fishing for our and future generations.

The purpose of the fishing area is:

• To promote fishing in the area and to allow sport fishing and recreational fishing, among other things, through the sale of fishing licenses to the public according to the specified fishing licenses.
• To strive at least for fishing conservation measures to be implemented within the same cost framework as the previous operating year.
• To achieve the best possible catch yield from fishing.
• To prosecute all illegal and unregulated fishing in the area.
• To strive for the common wishes of the partners regarding compliance, care, management and other matters common to the entire area.
