- Fishing may not be started before a fishing license has been issued
- Fishing in Svartegöl is at your own risk.
- People with disabilities have priority to the piers.
- The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred to another person and must be shown to the supervisor upon request. FISHING LICENSES ARE PERSONAL, THIS MEANS THAT EVERYONE WHO FISHES MUST HAVE AN OWN FISHING LICENSE.
- Members must be able to show their membership card.
- Day license: Maximum catch 2 rainbows. Catch & Release is allowed with a barbless single hook (also applies to spinning fishing) catch and reel is not allowed with 3 hooks, after you have caught your second fish the license is used up. The same applies to Annual licenses but fishing ends after 1 caught rainbow because the daily quota is then filled and fishing must end for the day.
- Children under 12 years of age fish on a guardian's card.
- Fishing is only permitted with a spinning/reel rod and a fly rod, only one rod may be used when fishing, bombarding with a fly is permitted.
- Fishing rod is not permitted.
- BAITED HOOK (fishing) PROHIBITED. Also applies to ALL forms of Power Bait, shrimp, worm, scent and bread. Also applies to ice fishing
- BOTTOM BAIT and FLOAT BAIT are PROHIBITED.
- Angling with bait fish for pike is permitted when there is ice on the lake
- Mashing prohibited.
- Swamping of fish is prohibited.
- Fishing from a boat is not permitted.
- Fishing with a fly rod and fly from a float ring is permitted with the appropriate card, not permitted with spin fishing from a float ring. NB show consideration for other fishermen.

- Fires are only allowed at the barbecue area.
- Consideration for people, nature and rules must be shown otherwise you may be rejected from the site and your fishing license will be revoked.
- In case of serious violations, you may be reported to the police.

OTHER
Keeping the area clean from garbage and cigarette butts is part of good sport fishing spirit. When you leave your site, garbage, cigarette butts, and empty cans etc. must be taken to the nearest trash can. Fishing line must not be left behind under any circumstances.
When the fishing license is paid, it also means that you as a visitor to Svartegöl have accepted the rules that are stated. As well as accepting that the fishing guard can check that there is a valid fishing license and that the rules are followed. The fishing guard has the right to expel fishermen from Svaretgöl if the rules are not followed, if this happens the fishing license fee will not be refunded.
The fishing guard has the right to confiscate fishing equipment if it deems it appropriate.
