Fishing license MUST be purchased before the start of fishing and presented upon request.
3 game fish / day is valid all year round regardless of fishing license type on Hotlamm (Lilla Gransjön), Backsjön and Ryggsjön.
NOTE for Hotlamm: From the winter premiere and until 28/2-2026, only a separate day license is valid on Hotlamm (Lilla Gransjön). After February 28, day licenses, weekly licenses, annual licenses are also valid but still only 3 game fish / day. And a maximum of 2 rods.
Fishing in Gåstjärn is only allowed for Fishing Rights Owners.
Setting out a hook with bait, so-called "Ståndkrok" is completely prohibited.
Fishing from a boat in Hotlamm (Lilla Gransjön) is prohibited.
Net fishing, otters and badgers may only be carried out by Fishing Rights Owners. All nets and badgers must be marked with name and telephone number. For more information, contact Thomas H.
All illegal fishing will be reported to the Police Authority.
Or you will have to pay a control fee of 2000 SEK for those who violate FVOF Rules.
All fishing licenses are personal and cannot be transferred.
Fishing is only allowed with 2 hand tools at a time, summer and winter.
Closed season for Trout: September 1st through November 30th.
The minimum permitted size of trout & char is 25 cm, smaller fish must be released regardless of condition.
Children and youth under 16 years of age fish for free in the entire area except Hotlamp (Lilla Gransjön).
