Fishing

  • A valid fishing license must always be carried when fishing in our waterways.
  • As we promote outdoor activities for children and young people, fishing is free for children up to 15 years of age when accompanied by an adult.
  • A fishing limit of three game fish per fisherman and day/license applies, char, trout and rainbow trout.
  • Fishing in our waterways is prohibited.
  • Fishing within the fishing limit in Karvsjön is not permitted. The fishing limit covers the area around the swimming area and the limit is marked with two signs, one on each side of the swimming area.
  • We would like to see that the pike that is fished out of Karvsjön is not put back after it has been picked up.

Grilling areas

There are a number of windbreaks with fire pits set up by the lakes. There is freedom to light a fire as long as there is no fire ban. Fire bans are issued by the county administrative board or the municipality. Information about what applies can usually be found on their websites. Please note: The wood in the windbreaks is intended for use on site. We are happy to provide wood, provided that it is not transported from there – but is also there when the next person arrives.

Rules

No form of littering is allowed in our fishing area. Beer cans, cigarette butts, glass bottles, cardboard boxes, packaging, paper and other rubbish must be thrown into containers intended for waste or taken home. It is strictly forbidden to throw any form of rubbish into the waterways, as it can harm the fish, those who bathe and also makes the surroundings look unkempt.

  • Maximum speed on Karvsjön is 5 knots.
