Violations of rules and Force Majeure
Anyone who violates applicable rules or otherwise behaves in a disruptive manner may be banned from further fishing in Bergeforsen's Fiskevårdsområde, which also affects other waters that Bergeforsfisket collaborates with. Violations of rules, which result in a fishing license being revoked or declared invalid, do not entitle you to a full or partial refund of the fee paid. The same may apply in the event of Force Majeure, i.e. an event that could not have been foreseen in advance.
If a violation of applicable rules is found, the fishing inspector has the right to issue a so-called inspection fee of currently 800 SEK in the event of, for example, incorrect fishing methods, non-respect of the curfew, etc.
If the fishing area's staff or inspectors are subjected to threats or harassment by a fishing guest, the person concerned will be suspended and a police report will be made. Eviction can be decided directly by the fishing inspector who reports to the fisheries management area's operations manager.
Sport fishing is conducted at your own risk. The river is short-term regulated and caution should be observed in changing current conditions.
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO SCRAP AND LEAVE FISH OR WASTE, CIGARETTE BUTTS ALONG THE BEACHES. DO NOT LEAVE FISHING LINES OR BAITED BAITS ON THE GROUND. WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF BIRDS, DOGS, CATS THAT HAVE BEEN ENTANGLED OR SWALLOWED BAITS WITH HOOKS.
