Restrictions
The use of so-called live transmitters in connection with fishing is prohibited.

10-day card
Applies to fishing with:
- Hand gear max 2 rods per boat when trolling, 1 fishing license per fisherman, rules as below
B and C cards
Applies to fishing with:

Pair lines 2 pcs, 60 mm circular escape opening for eel must be on each side of the cone. Long lines max 200 hooks, no bait with worm.

Net fishing Max 120 m net length and 6 feet deep (1.80 m) 4 net lengths of max 30 m each Minimum mesh size as follows:

January 1-March 31 4 nets with 60 mm mesh.

April 1 – May 31 Net fishing ban.

June 1 - September 30 1 net 60 mm mesh, 2 nets 55 mm mesh, 1 net 45 mm mesh

October 1-December 31 4 nets with 60 mm mesh.

Nets must be netted within 48 hours.

When fishing with the above gear except hand gear, the fishing license holder must be present both when setting and netting.

MARKING AND LABELLING All gear must be provided with clearly visible markings at both ends. They must be marked with name, telephone number.
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
- Children under 15 years of age fish for free with hand gear.
PROHIBITED AREAS
- In Rännan into Arkelstorpsviken (red marking), only hand gear fishing is permitted.
- Outside Karsholm Castle (red marking), only hand gear fishing is permitted. Anchoring is prohibited in the area, see signs.
- Outside Bokenäset (red marking), only hand gear fishing is permitted. Gear may not be placed in areas in front of another person's pier, bathing area, boat ramp, beach plot or building where it may be considered an encroachment on another person's private area.
- PROTECTED SPECIES It is prohibited to fish for catfish and eels. These must be immediately released back into the water.
PROHIBITED TIMES
- Fishing with nets is prohibited during the zander spawning season 1 April – 31 May.
- North of Karsholm Castle 1 Jan – 31 July, No fishing allowed (see marking line on map).
- North of Karsholm Castle 1 April – 31 May, total fishing ban, to promote the spawning opportunities of the pike perch. (See marking line on map.)
MINIMUM DIMENSION Pike perch 45 cm.
CONTROL AND FISHING SUPERVISION
- A valid fishing license must be carried when fishing and shown to a supervisor or fishing rights holder upon request. The fishing license may not be transferred. Supervisors are Örjan Mårtensson tel 0454-922 66, 0706-90 02 29 Andreas Nilsson 0702-80 44 39.
SALE OF FISH
- The fishing license does not entitle you to catch fish for sale.
