From 2022 onwards, Åtjärn will be excluded from the waters covered by the association's regular fishing license. The reason is the great interest that the Strupsnittsöringen has created. The following applies:
- Fishing in Åtjärn is only permitted during the period 1 July-31 August.
- Number of fish is limited to 2 per fisherman per day. (min 30 cm)
- The number of fishing licenses sold for Åtjärn is limited to 5 per day.
- Price for fishing licenses is 500 SEK/day. Cards can only be purchased in Duved at Fjällsport.
- Otherwise, the association's fishing rules apply.
