Fishing rights holders and local authorities with annual permits: All fishing is permitted by law, with the exception of Lumsen, Nybotjärn and Tillibränntjärn, see special provisions below.
Other fishermen with recreational fishing permits and day permits: Hand-held fishing with one rod or 15 fishing rods/ice bait rods. Special fishing permits apply for Lumsen.
Lumsen, Nybotjärn and Tillibränntjärn: One rod per loose permit. Max. 3 rainbow trout/trout per day and permit. Angling and ice fishing permitted in Lumsen. Angling/ice fishing is prohibited in Nybotjärn and Tillibränntjärn. Net fishing is prohibited in all of them. Fishing may only be conducted from land and ice.
General: Fishing ban for trout applies from 1 September to 31 December in running water. Minimum size for trout 20cm in running water and 25cm in other waters. Outstanding gear must be marked with name and telephone number.
Fish cleaners must not be left in or near water.
