General
NB, the river is only allowed on the 2nd Saturday in June at 6:00 PM until 15th August. Fishing without a fishing license is strictly prohibited. Fishing near the Bergnäs Dam is prohibited, the stretch between the Bergnäs Dam foot 100 meters upstream and 100 meters downstream is all fishing prohibited. This limit is marked, see map. Downstream of these markings, fishing is permitted, with the exception of the mill stream.
Fishing season
Fishing between 16th August and the second Saturday in June at 6:00 PM is only permitted in the lakes. The stretch between the Bergnäs Dam and the river's outlet in Lake Naustajaure is open for sport fishing from the second Saturday in June until 15th August.
Methods
All fishing with live or dead bait, including worms, is prohibited. In the Bergnäs River, it is prohibited to fish with nets and jigs.
Catch restrictions
Regardless of which cards or how many cards are purchased, a maximum of 1 trout per day may be caught.
