Fishing season
Spawning ban: With the aim of protecting spawning fish, the fish are protected as follows: Grayfish are protected from April 15 - June 10. Trout are protected in running water September 1 - October 14. Methods: Special rules and catch restrictions apply to trolling. Fishing with deep rigs and side paravanes is permitted in Storsjön. Fishing may be done with a maximum of 3 rods per fisherman and 1 bait per rod. A maximum of 6 rods per boat is permitted. The catch limit is set at 3 fish (Canadian trout, char, grayling) per fisherman per day. Catch restrictions: Min. Dimensions: Trout between 30 cm and 45 cm may be kept when fishing (running water), trout (lake), char and gray min 35 cm, salmon min 50 cm. Catch limit: Max 5 fish per fisherman per day. (Ex. 2 grayling + 1 trout + 2 char = 5) In running water only one trout per day may be kept per fisherman. Note, Running water is the Lina River with tributaries on mkjf leased water.
Re-release
Handle the fish carefully, preferably unhook in the water, avoid long air time

Fishing license must always be shown. Do not leave any equipment or trash in nature!
To keep in mind for good fish care, the minimum size of pike should be 45 cm (maximum size 75 cm), only fish between 45–75 cm may be taken. Perch ≥ 38 cm should be released.
