General
If you fish in the Storsaivis-Suobbat Fiskevårdsområde, you are required to be aware of the current regulations for fishing in the area. The fishing ban on SUOBBATSJÖN applies from October 1st until the fishing premiere on February 1st. A valid fishing license is required to fish in the Storsaivis-Suobbat Fiskevårdsområde. The card must be redeemed before fishing begins. The supervisors or board members of the fishery management area may request to see a valid fishing license. If a valid fishing license is not available, this is considered illegal fishing. The supervisors or board members of the fishery management area may also request to see closed and hidden spaces. Closed or hidden spaces mean all spaces where fish can be stored. If the fisherman/fishing license holder does not comply with the request, the fishing license will be forfeited.
