The fishing license is personal. Persons under 16 years of age fish for free. Holders of a valid fishing license are allowed to fish within the entire Hovermoån-Högåns FVO with hand gear.
Fishing season: Fishing ban in the river 1 Sep-31 Oct and 15 April-15 June.
Fishing restrictions: In the Högån-Hovermoån itself, the minimum size for trout and grayling is 30cm. In the tributary streams and ponds, 15 cm. In the case of Hovermo and 100m downstream, there is a total fishing ban, follow the signs.
