Fishing rules in Kalvsjön and Svansjöarna
- Fishing is only permitted with rods and other hand gear. When trolling, otters or paravans are not permitted.
- When winter fishing, a maximum of 5 rods/gear.
- Crayfish fishing is prohibited.
The following fishing rules (minimum, maximum size and maximum take) apply
- Zander: min 45 cm / max 65 cm, a maximum of 2 pieces per day/person
- Pike: min 40 cm / max 75 cm, a maximum of 2 pieces per day/person
- Perch: max 35 cm, a maximum of 10 pieces per day/person
In order for the fish you put back to have a greater chance of survival, you should
- Put the fish back quickly, a maximum of 30 seconds in the air. Preferably unhook in the water, otherwise hold the fish with support under the abdomen and always horizontally.
- Use hook removers/pliers, mats, nets and scale bags.
- Always wet your hands, as well as the net and mat.
- Do not fish deeper than 10 meters.
- Reduce the time of fishing, do not have weak equipment.
- Preferably use barbless hooks.
