Fishing rules for Trollhättan salmon fishing from Oskarsbron to Hängbron (Hojums and Oliden power stations) If you cannot show your fishing license upon inspection, fishing must be stopped immediately at the request of the fishing guard. The fishing license is personal and cannot be transferred and/or resold. The card gives permission to engage in sport fishing (this means that the catch MAY NOT be resold). When you buy the fishing license, you are obliged to take note of ALL applicable rules for fishing. Fishing licenses can be purchased at www.iFiske.se or at Fiskeshopen (seasonal or daily cards).
- The minimum age for fishing is 16 years. (Applies both with and without the company of a guardian.) - A life jacket must be worn for all types of fishing. - Wild salmon, with adipose fin, must be unconditionally released 1/9 - 14/10.
New fishing rules for Zander and Pike from 2025
Zander Protection: During spawning season, 25/4 - 31/5, Zander must be carefully released. The following applies at other times: Minimum size: 45 cm Maximum size: 65 cm Zander over 65cm must be carefully released. A maximum of 2 zanders per day within 45-65 cm may be kept.
