The fishing license entitles the holder to fish in fishing waters belonging to the Silvergruvan fishing conservation area within the specified time frame and for the special provisions issued by the Sala Fiskevårdsförening and of which the card holder is obliged to keep informed. Violations of the provisions will unconditionally result in the withdrawal of the fishing license and also the confiscation of equipment.

Fishing license and identification must be presented to a police officer, supervisor and member of the Sala Fiskevårdsförening upon request.

Fishing with nets is prohibited in all waters.

All carp must be carefully released immediately after any weighing, measuring and photographing.

Pike over 60cm caught within the protected zone must be carefully released after any weighing, measuring and photographing.

All pike perch less than 50cm and over 60cm must be unconditionally released.

Special provisions apply to crayfish fishing.

Behave in a proper manner, keep nature clean and be aware of the fire hazard.

All fishing is done at your own risk.

Fishing in Ekeby dammar does not require a fishing license, but has a prohibited zone. Within the area, pikes over 60cm and all carp are protected and must be released without fail!

Only fishing with cast, ice, fly and fishing rod.

Ice rods may only be used when the lake is covered with ice. Max. 1 ice rod / person, or a maximum of 15 fishing rods for pike fishing.

Only 1 rod per person.

No fixed gear may be used.

Only fishing from land, piers or jetties or ice fishing is allowed.

Only one fishing license and gear per fisherman, fishing licenses are personal.

A maximum of 3 fish may be caught per day (00 - 24) and per daily card/day pass. Maximum 1 valid daily card/day pass at a time per fisherman.

Mashing is prohibited in Järndammen.

Inspection fee applies in all our waters from 1/1-2022
