Fishing license holder's rights and obligations

  • The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. The fishing license or proof of payment must always be carried when fishing and must be shown to a fishing inspector upon request.
  • The fishing license entitles you to fish in all waters except Norra Stensjön and Abborrtjärn Put & Take.
  • Children and young people up to 16 years of age fish for free without charge in the area. Exception is put & take fishing in Abborrtjärn in Los.
  • The fishing license expires immediately if the applicable rules are not observed, without the right for the card holder to have the fee paid refunded. In the event of a breach of the fishing rules, an inspection fee may be charged. If you are fishing without a valid fishing license, the supervisor has the right to confiscate equipment and file a police report for illegal fishing.
  • Having a fishing license does NOT include the right to use roads in the area. Be careful with fires in the forest and on land.
  • Local fishing bans and restrictions may apply, this will be posted.
