Rules for village card holders Los-Hamra FVO

  • The fishing card is valid per calendar year. After 31/12, the card is invalid and a new one must be purchased for continued fishing. 
  • Entitles to fishing in all waters except Norra Stensjön and Abborrtjärn Put & Take.
  • Village cards are only sold to people registered in the area, owners of fishing rights in the area, and to those who were members of Voxna Norra in 1984. 
  • Village card holders are allowed to fish in the waters within Orsa conservation forest FVO that are within the part belonging to Ljusdal municipality. Rules according to Orsa conservation forest FVO apply there. 

Fishing card holder's rights and obligations

  • The fishing card is personal and may not be transferred. The fishing license or proof of payment must always be carried when fishing and must be presented to a fishing supervisor upon request.

  • Children under 15 years of age may fish free of charge in the company of a guardian and on the latter's card and quota.

  • The fishing right ceases immediately if the applicable rules are not observed, without the right for the card holder to have the fee paid refunded. In case of violation of the fishing rules, a control fee may be charged. When fishing without a valid fishing license, the supervisor has the right to confiscate equipment and draw up a police report for illegal fishing. 

  • Holding a fishing license does NOT include the right to use roads in the area. Be careful with fires in the forest and on land.

Fishing for game fish in our stocking waters

The following rules and restrictions apply in the following waters: Abborrtjärn, Blanktjärn, Hebbusotjärn, Hockalamm, Hötjärn, Igeltjärn, Myllilamm, Mårdsjön, Råtjärn, Smaltjärn, Tallbergstjärn, Älgsjön and Öringstjärn.

  • Rod fishing only! (Casting rod, fly rod, fishing rod or ice rod). Only one rod per fisherman may be used.
  • Fishing from a boat is prohibited. We equate float rings and all other floating gear with boat fishing. Exceptions may apply.
  • Exceptions boat fishing Älgsjön: Boats are available for rent. Float fishing permitted in Älgsjön for a fee equivalent to boat rental. Own boats not permitted. Motor not allowed. 
  • Minimum dimensions: grayling & trout 35cm. Char 30cm.
  • Maximum 3 salmonids may be kept per day and license.  NOTE: In Lake Hockalamm, only one trout may be kept per fishing license and day. This is to protect the stock, which is self-reproducing.

Boat, gear and fishing methods

  • The fishing license entitles you to fishing with only 1 hand gear at a time. A maximum of 12 angelfish may be set out per fishing license. 
  • Net fishing: 1 day/5 nets only applies to net fishing in the following lakes: Dåasen, Fetingen, Gällsjön, Hamrasjöarna, Karsjön, Kroksjön, Lomsjöarna, Långarna, Mansjön, Nätsjön, Ryggasjöarna, Sillersjöarna, Stenslåsjön, Tensjön, Västersjön and Västersjön
  • Fishing gear that is left unattended must be marked in such a way that the marking clearly shows who is using the gear. 
  • Otter fishing NOT permitted. Jerk fishing not permitted. Pike scissors not allowed.

Fishing restrictions
