To protect nature, fish and freshwater pearl mussels, we have the following rules of conduct: • Fishing ban 1/10–31/12 • Only Catch & Release fishing, all fish must be carefully released. • Only traditional fly fishing is permitted. (fly rod, fly reel, fly line, flies). • Only barbless flies or trapped barbs are permitted. (jigs, "propeller flies", plastic balls, spinning flies, baited hooks, hooks with odorants are not permitted.) Applies to the entire route. • The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. • A valid fishing license must be presented upon request. • Wading is prohibited. Applies to the entire route. • Mandatory use of a net with a fish-friendly net and a peang. • Tenkara is not permitted in this part of Hedströmmen. • Vehicles may only be parked in the designated parking spaces. • Tents, caravans and motor homes may not be parked in the area or in the parking spaces. • Follow existing paths and instructions that are signposted along the stream. • Fires are only permitted in the designated fireplaces at the windbreaks. • In the event of littering or if the wading ban is ignored, supervisors have the right to immediately revoke the fishing license! • Dogs must be on a leash.
