Applies to properties with fishing rights within VIKA FVO.
Only one fishing right certificate can be used at a time (or share the number of gears) even if all partners in the property have issued fishing right certificates for the year. To issue more fishing right certificates, a larger share than 1% in the fishery management area is required. Contact the board for information about the share for your property.
The fishing right grants the right to, in waters where fishing rights are held, use the legally permitted gears.
*Net fishing is currently prohibited in the waters specified below. Fishing right holders may use fixed fishing gear, hand gear and angle gear according to the decision of the fishing meeting.
Fishing for crayfish is only permitted on shared or private waters and according to the times and rules decided on at the fishing meeting.
The fishing right certificate is personal but applies to the spouse, cohabitant and children under 16 years of age. Spouse, partner or child under 16 years of age then fish on the same catch quota as the card holder.
*Net fishing ban applies until further notice in Vikasjön (to protect the breeding pike perch), Lilla Lönnvattnet, St Acktjärnen, Mörttjärnen, Sågsjön and Långtjärnen.
One fishing license – one rod!! Two fishing licenses – two rods!!
This applies to all waters. The catch quota does NOT increase when purchasing multiple fishing licenses, only the number of gear.
Boating ban applies in St. Acktjärnen and Mörttjärnen (floating rings carried with frog legs are allowed).
In St. Acktjärnen, Lilla Lönnvattnet and Mörttjärnen, a catch limit of two game fish per day applies.
Fishing ban applies in St. Acktjärnen, Mörttjärnen & L:a Lönnvattnet 1/11– 24/12.
Catch limit in Runn and Vikasjön is 5 pike per day and maximum length 80 cm.
For pikeperch, 2 fish per day between 50 - 70 cm applies.
Peace period for pikeperch in Vikasjön between 1/5 – 15/6. All caught pikeperch must be released during this period.
Perch over 40 cm must always be released.
Total ban on fishing with so-called "LiveScope", "Mega Live" and "ActiveTarget" echo sounders.
Outstanding gear must be marked with clear floats and provided with name and property designation.
Långtjärn and Sågsjön are leased by Vika sportfiskeklubb (own card required and net ban).
Violations of the meeting's decision will be subject to a control fee of 1500 SEK.
FISHING LICENSE MUST BE BROUGHT AND PRESENTED UPON REQUEST.
