"Village residents" can buy a discounted family card with extended fishing opportunities for 250 SEK / year. Applies to children up to 20 years of age at home and spouse or cohabitant.
Fishing is only allowed with sport fishing gear, maximum one handheld rod.
Does not apply to Svarttjärn Put&Take.
In Gärdvattnet, Gärdsjön and Lidsjön you can fish from boats and float rings. In all other waters boat fishing is prohibited. In Bygdvattnet only rental boats. Float rings count as boats.
Whitefish fishing allowed 25/10-31/12.
Fishing in Gärdströmmen allowed 1/1-31/8. Fishing ban 1/9-31/12 (trout spawning) with the exception of whitefish fishing allowed 25/10-31/12.
All trout caught in Gärdsjön must be reported to info@lidsjobergsfvo.se or SMS to mobile nollsjunoll-6483097. The general terms and conditions apply with the exception of net and otter fishing, fishing from a boat in Gärdsjön and ice fishing.
When ice fishing, 2 rods/person are allowed.
When fishing from a boat in Gärdsjön, 2 rods/person are allowed.
Fishing with down bait is allowed in Gärdsjön and Gärdvattnet.
When fishing by net, the net floats must be marked with a name and telephone number. Unmarked nets will be taken up. This also applies to nets placed in the wrong place and/or at the wrong time.
Net fishing in Gärdsjön permitted with a maximum of 6 nets or a maximum of 180 meters per fishing occasion, with the exception of the period 15/8 to 30/10 when the net ban applies downstream of Brännholmen and Storåviken. See map.
Net fishing in Gärdvattnet permitted with a maximum of 6 nets or 180 meters per fishing occasion, with the exception of the period 1/9-30/10 when the net ban applies where Gärdvattnet flows into Storån and 300 meters upstream in the lake. See map.
Fishing with a pole hook is permitted in Gärdsjön when there is ice, however a maximum of 6 pole hooks per household. Pole hooks must be marked with name and telephone number. Unmarked pole hooks will be taken away.
Inspection fee, according to SFS 2010:1874, When the above conditions are not met, an inspection fee of 1000:- will be charged.
