It is the fisherman's responsibility to find out the applicable rules before fishing starts!
During inspection
- It is your responsibility to be able to present a fishing license in digital format! (email, text message or file)
- Alternatively, you have a printed/paper valid fishing license that you can present!
When purchasing a fishing license on iFiske, we recommend that you save it locally on your device in case there is no mobile coverage during inspection!
Allowed gear
- Otter fishing/scissors/stand hooks is prohibited in the entire area.
- Trolling fishing Ljugaren, Dådransjön, Amungen and Ungsjöarna max 6 rods/boat (requires special trolling card and only 1 card/person)
- Trolling fishing Siljan max 10 rods/boat. No trolling card is needed for Siljan where the regular cards also apply to trolling.
- Spinning fishing from a boat applies to the regular cards for the entire area.

Ljugaren/Dådransjön, Amungen, Northern and southern Ungsjöarna. Siljan you can troll on the regular cards.
Bans valid from September 1st to November 30th
- Rockviken, Amungen (see map conservation area).
- In Ljugaren there is a trolling ban and a net ban within the conservation area (see map).
- 300 m from all inlets in lakes.
Minimum and maximum dimensions
Applies to ALL waters within Rättvik-Boda FVOF
- Perch - All perches over 40 cm must be released back.
- Pike - All pike over 90 cm must be released back.
- Trout between 60 cm - 95 cm must be released.
- Max 1 trout per day and card.
