Fishing rules, Nässjöortens FVO
Fishing license
- Fishing license is required for fishing and crayfish fishing in Ingsbergssjön, Handskerydssjön and Runnerydssjön.
- Violation of fishing rules will be prosecuted. A valid fishing license is personal and must always be presented when fishing.
- Children & young people up to 18 years of age fish for free but must purchase a license and take note of the applicable rules. NOTE! Crayfish fishing is NOT included in the youth card but must be purchased separately via the crayfish fishing card.
Fishing
- Only fishing with hand gear is permitted (spinning, angling, fly fishing, ice fishing/fishing and ice fishing).
- When angling and ice fishing, a maximum of 5 gear per person applies.
- All carp caught are returned regardless of size.
- Pike over 70 cm, and perch over 35 cm are unconditionally returned. Maximum catch for pike under 70 cm is 2 per day and person. Free catch of perch under 35 cm and other "white fish" such as roach, bream, etc.
- Fishing from a boat, kayak and float ring is permitted in all three lakes.
- There is a total ban on combustion engines in all three lakes. However, the use of electric motors is permitted.
Crayfish fishing
- Fishing with a maximum of 5 cages/nets per person.
- Only crayfish fishing from land is permitted.
- Cages/nets must be marked with name and telephone number.
- Fishing with cages connected by line is prohibited.
- Crayfish under 10 cm must be returned without fail.
- Crayfish fishing takes place from 1 August at 5:00 PM until 15 August at 5:00 PM.
Roach huts
- Maximum number is 3 in Handskerydssjön and 3 in Runnerydssjön
- The location must not interfere with fishing with a rod
- The roach huts must be marked with the name and telephone number.
- It is not allowed to place roach huts at jetties
- Only allowed between 1/10 - 31/3
For everyone's well-being
- Do not litter in nature! Take all garbage with you when you leave the site.
- Only light fires in designated fireplaces. When you leave the site, make sure the fire is out.
- As a visitor, you are responsible for informing yourself about the laws and regulations that apply to the fishing waters you are visiting.
- If rules are not followed, the fisheries management area supervisors have the right to charge an inspection fee of 1500 SEK.
