FISHING RULES effective 2024-07-01.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EFFECTIVE 2021-03-26 FISHING BAN APPLIES 1 MARCH-15 JULY WITHIN THE LINDÖ BIRD PROTECTION AREA.

All fishing permits are valid for angling, ice fishing, trolling and casting with two casting rods or two trolling or two anglers (sprats) or two ice fishing rods (if you want to fish with more than two anglers/ice fishing rods, a fishing permit is required for each additional pair of anglers/ice fishing rods. Bait nets may be used. Only these tools may be used by card fishermen.

The fishing permit must always be carried along with an ID document when fishing.

The card holder is always obliged to follow the applicable fishing regulations and also ensure that any participating persons also hold a fishing permit (fishing right) on the waters visited. For children and young people up to 16 years of age, fishing is free according to the rules of the fishing permit.

There is an obligation to stay at request of the supervisor or fishing rights holder.

Anyone who fishes without a valid fishing license will be punished according to Swedish law.

In case of violation of these or other regulations regarding fishing in the lake, the fishing license will be revoked. A new fishing license can then only be obtained after examination by the board. In case of violation, a police report can be made.

Fishing with a paravan is prohibited.

All pike over 70 cm must be released. A maximum of 5 pike per day may be kept.

Pike fishing at depths greater than 9 m is not permitted.

Pike fishing ban from May 1 to June 15.

All pike over 80 cm must be released.

Minimum size for trout is 50 cm. Release is recommended when the stock is under construction.

Fishing with other than the above-mentioned gear, e.g. bream, roach hut, net, seine, longline, Russian and the like, is only permitted for fishing water owners (owners of property either with fishing water or with part of fishing water).

In case of violation of other rules, a control fee of 1500 SEK can be issued on the spot by a fishing inspector.
FEES from 2024-07-01.
Annual card costs 1000 SEK and is valid for one year from purchase. The card includes trolling and casting rod fishing with two casting rods or two drags or two anglers (sprats) or two ice fishing rods as well as angling and ice fishing. Ten-day card costs 500 SEK and is valid for 10 consecutive days from purchase. The card includes trolling and casting rod fishing with two casting rods or two drags or two anglers (sprats) or two ice fishing rods as well as angling and ice fishing. Day card costs 100 SEK and is valid for 1 day from purchase. The card covers trolling and casting rod fishing with two casting rods or two trolling rods or two angel don (spätt) or two ice fishing rods as well as angling and ice fishing.

FISHING COMPETITIONS.
Fishing competitions organized by an established association in angling or ice fishing must be reported to Ås-Tolkens FVOF well in advance of the start of the competition. An association is considered established when the board minutes can be presented.
WATER OWNERS.
Fishing right holders are assigned 2 fishing right cards per property with fishing rights. Fishing right cards must be carried when fishing and can be presented together with identification upon inspection. Fishing right cards are tied to and follow the property.
