Fishing regulations
You must have a fishing license to fish in the Håckren area. The fishing license is personal. Young people under 18 years of age fish for free. Fishing license holders must bring a fishing license.
Håckrenmagasinet
Fishing all year round. Sport fishing is practiced with hand gear, such as rods, jigs and similar movable gear with a maximum of 3 hooks. Trolling is practiced with a maximum of 6 lines per boat and a maximum of 10 fish per boat and 24 hours. Flowing water at Storån and Sätterån belongs to Ottsjö FVO. Minimum size trout 35cm. Minimum size char and other species 25 cm. Allowed to fish with live bait. The fishing license does not allow otters or to set nets. Maximum 15 fish per 24 hours and angler. Report catches to identify the presence of different fish species.
Tjärnar
Sport fishing is practiced with hand gear, such as rods, jigs and similar movable gear with a maximum of 3 hooks. Minimum size of game fish 25 cm. Allowed to fish with live bait. All forms of floating gear not allowed. Max 4 fish per person per day. Report the catch to identify the presence of different fish species.
Reel fishing
Only fly fishing is allowed and barbless hooks are recommended. All fish smaller than 25 cm are returned. All fish larger than 35 cm are returned. Fishermen have the opportunity to catch one food fish per day within the interval 25-35 cm. Live bait is not allowed. Catch reports must be submitted no later than two weeks after fishing.
Supervision
Within Håckrens FVOF, an inspection fee of 10% of the price base amount is applied according to current legislation. Fishing without a valid fishing license is a violation of the Fishing Act and will be reported to the police.
