Fishing rules

● The fishing license, which is personal, is valid for Snärjebäcken at Ebbegärde.

● Anglers are obliged to show their fishing license, identification and all catches upon request from a fishing inspector. This includes catches placed in vehicles.

● Fishing may be conducted from sunrise, but no earlier than 05:00, until sunset.

● Permitted fishing methods are spinning, with one cast, and fly fishing, with ONE fly, on designated and signposted stretches.

● Fly fishing with a casting float/casting jig (not on the fly fishing stretch) and ONE fly is permitted, IF the fishing is being carried out actively. Angling/stationary floats are prohibited. Anglers must hold onto their gear/rod.

● Pacifier indicators made of plastic, Styrofoam, twine or similar are not permitted when fly fishing.

● Traditional angling and/or fishing with all types of organic bait, such as powerbait, worms, maggots, shrimp or similar bait is prohibited.

● The allowed catch quota per fishing license and fisherman is 2 rainbows (special rules apply to fishermen with annual licenses)

● When 2 rainbows are landed, the fishing license is used up and fishing must cease immediately. Continued Catch and Release is not permitted.

● Catch and Release is only permitted when fishing with a single hook

● We strongly recommend fishing with barbed hooks (pinch the barb)

● When catching pike, the fisherman is asked not to release the fish back. Exception: larger pike 6 kg +

● Wading is prohibited in the S-bend and upstream, the entire stretch.

● A child up to and including 14 years of age has the right to fish on an adult's license and fishing quota. However, only applies when the cardholder is present at the fishing and has supervision over the child.

● Violations of established rules will be prosecuted and fishermen will lose their fishing rights regardless of the type of violation.

Littering is considered a violation of the rules.

● Kalmar Sportfiskeklubb reserves the right to change prices and rules during the current fishing season. Fishermen are therefore advised to stay updated on current rules.
