General rules: To protect Hummeln's fine stock of large pike and the newly introduced pike-perch, the following rules apply to sport fishing in Hummeln: -Fishing in Hummeln is only conducted as sport fishing for card-holders, whereby only hand gear is permitted. -No fixed gear is permitted -When trolling, only two gears may be used by each card-holder. -Pike over 1 meter must be released without fail. -Pike under 60 cm must be released without fail. -Crayfish fishing is not included in the fishing license. -Young people under 15 years of age fish for free. -Do not catch more fish than you use. Fishing for financial gain (sale) is strictly prohibited. -Respect the fishing inspectors appointed by the County Administrative Board. -In other respects, the Fishing Act applies.
-Fishing rights holders are permitted to fish with nets and crayfish cages according to special regulations. - The fisheries management area applies a control fee (sections 31-39 of LOFO) in case of violation of applicable rules.
